Cleveland Golf has developed an outstanding new design to help these Golfers to make a better choice. Classic design with the cutting edge cavity back design combined. This will give them the looks of the desired Tour style wedges and the lightness, forgiveness and easiness of play from a cavity back design.
The NEW CBX Wedge from Cleveland Golf is a forgiving, cavity back wedge for the majority of golfers who play forgiving, cavity back irons. While its tour level face technologies create maximum spin and control, its shape and weighting are optimized for ultimate forgiveness.

The wide Dual V-Sole provides the forgiveness and lift through the turf you need, yet still allows for versatility to execute various shot types.
CAVITY BACK DESIGN
The Cavity Back Design distributes more weight to the perimeter for more forgiveness and better distance control on off-center impacts.

MAJOR TECHNOLOGIES
NEW DUAL-V Sole GRIND – The sole of the Cleveland CBX wedge is wider and more forgiving, allowing it to glide through the turf smoothly and efficiently while maintaining enough versatility to execute an array of shots.
FRONT-TO-BACK V
The leading edge features slightly more bounce to prevent digging, while the wide rear portion provides more stability and lift through the turf without the club “bouncing” off the turf.
HEEL-TO-TOE V
The wider toe improves square face and bunker shots. The heel section is narrowed to the width of a traditional wedge for better performance when opening the face.

Major Technologies
Cavity Back Design – The cavity design allows for ~76 grams of mass to be taken from the center of the wedge (compared to if it had no cavity) and placed around the perimeter and in the wider sole for a higher MOI.
NEW Feel Balancing Technology – Optimized weighting moves the CG 3mm closer to the face center than an average wedge for more consistency and better feel.
NEW Rotex Face – The 3 technologies within the Rotex Face combine to create consistent spin from all lies.
TOUR ZIP GROOVES
A deeper, narrower U shape with a sharp edge radius in all lofts enhances contact across a wide variety of conditions. The groove structure is designed to prevent iers from the rough on full shots with lower-lofted wedges and maximize spin control and consistency from deeper greenside lies with higher-lofted wedges.
MICRO MILLING
The advanced, 2-pass micro milling pattern increases friction and is directionally enhanced by
loft: low lofts (46° – 52°) have a circular pattern oriented straighter toward the leading edge to accommodate full shot performance. High lofts (54° – 60°) feature a pattern angled toward the toe to match swing path on open-face shots for optimal greenside performance.
LASER MILLING
A final pass of laser-milling ne-tunes the roughness right up to the USGA limit for the maximum possible friction and spin around the greens.
